You're not wrong, it's even worse when these fellas go to watch their lad and kick-off at their games too, there's really no need.
Last sunday league match I went to the ref got beaten up. Safe to say, the match ended pretty quickly following that. I think it was one of the Drum teams as well.
Like I said earlier I carnt believe people still turn up to ref these games, there must be other things to do to get away from the mrs
Think Drum got banned, returned, and now they've been given an indefinite ban. I presume they only did it to have a punch-up, relieved we won't have to play them anyway.
I played Wednesdays for about 6 months until last December. We started in the bottom division and got up as far as League 1 before we had to stop playing due to lack of players! Were you still playing Premier back then?
i played a few games for a few teams many years back. not surprised assaults on referees are not a regular occurrence. when i was playing, referees were not a regular occurrence. the only goal i ever scored was a dying seconds header to make the score 4-4.
I play for Sutton fields. We have won the Sunday prem for last 2 years and won league and cup double last year. To be fair the standard around hull isn't that great anymore. Bev town went unbeaten to win the Humber prem last year and we beat them comfortably 2-0 last week in the Humber cup. We went into the national cup last year but got knocked out 4-1 by a far superior scouse side. In our defence we had to play the whole second half with 10 men and I was told the team who beat us got to the semis.
I'm Blackies 'C' in Wyke 5, so should come up against a few of you lot by the sounds of it! Anyone fancy a friendly within the next 2 weeks?
whatttt? im sure we (afc blackburn L) finished above you?? and were still in the same league. That drum lot spat there dummy out with us and walked off with half hour left ha.
Yeah Blackies got spanked 8-0 in the National Cup by Paddock, although to be fair, Paddock did make the final. We've got you late November and then second to last game of the season.
AS Tigers haven't been 'promoted' as such, they've just moved from Wyke division to Myton division, can see where the confusion lies but it's because the divisions have been shortened, Myton 4th is actually the lowest Myton league, and Wyke 5th the lowest Wyke league.
North Cave, we're new this year, set it up myself with a few mates, we'll be in Wyke 5th going all out for the title. (I'll just be happy if I can get 11 people to go to every game).
Yes we haven't been promoted just put into Myton. It's because we play on Bude I think. Then again our league is odd. There is 2 or 3 teams in our league who play on Costello so don't understand how they are in Myton. Orchard park have asked us for a friendly for Wednesday night. Think we are playing Cott Rangers a week on Sunday.
