I for one will be attending this game on Wednesday as its local to me

Whilst I expect the usual array of kids, I wouldnt be surprised to see a few of the fringe players get a few minutes under their belt due to very few appearing in the 'main' friendlies thus far (possibly Carroll, Naughton etc)

For those toying with the idea, be aware the Cambridge City now ground-share with Histon FC

With a bit of luck half the first team should go, seeing they haven't played much recently. Be good for you if Bale played 30 mins <ok>

Surprised Falque played, wasn't he too busy talking to the Standard about Bale? <grr>

Seems Fredricks banged a belter in from 35 yards. He has a good pre-season.

    Just back from game

City could easily have been 2 up before we scored but once we did it wasn't much of a contest after that.

Ceballos, Bentaleb and Falque all technically head and shoulders above the rest

Fredericks very assured at RB and did score from 35 yards. More a swerving, dipping effort rather than a top corner strike and I think the City keeper would be disappointed

I wonder if anyone was taking a look at Falque today? I'd be fairly surprised if nobody from La Liga picks him up this summer. Maybe another loan, but it doesn't really suit us.

I think Falque is good enough to be in our first team squad.

    Two goals from him tonight...
