Matt Duke and Danny Emerton (who was in CM) both started for Northampton Town in the 1-0 defeat at York.

Andy Dawson played the full 90 minutes (and still wears his favoured #3 shirt) for Scunthorpe in their 2-0 win over Mansfield Town.

Jamie Devitt started on the bench for Chesterfield.

Sonny Bradley and Danny East both started for Pompey in their 4-1 crushing against Oxford United.

Tom Cairney came on for the last 13 minutes of Blackburn's 1-1 draw with Derby.

Will Atkinson managed 90 minutes for Southend against Plymouth, the former winning 1-0.

    League Cup

Daws played the full 90 at CB as Scunthorpe lost 5-4 on penalties to Barnsley.

Bradley and East both started in Portsmouth's 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth.

Matt Duke played the full 90 of Northampton's 2-1 defeat to Mk Dons, while Emerton played 85 minutes before being subbed for some kid.

Will Atkinson played the full 90 minutes in Southend's 0-1 defeat to Yeovil.

Luton's season hasn't started yet, so Cullen has yet to feature.

Didn't even realise Emerton had joined Northampton. I'm chuffed for the kid.

Pretty sure East didn't play the League game for Portsmouth. He suggested on Facebook that he was left out due to recovering from an injury.

Honestly think Emerton can have a positive future in the lower leagues.

Anyone know if Cullen played in Luton's 7-0 win over the Arsenal reserves?

Cairney has scored an equalizer for Blackburn.

EDIT: He also got 2 assists and sent off. Eventful.

How the **** did Cairney get sent off? Bet he got provoked and got done for violent conduct or something. Can't see it being a professional foul or serious foul play even.

Still positive to hear he had a big impact aside from that.

Thought it'd be something petulant rather than violent or aggressive.

He did, I believe he scored two.

Gary Bowyer had a right go at the ref about Cairney's sending off.

Blackburn's twitter feed posted something suggesting that there was confusion over the red card but he was booked twice for the same incident. First for the foul and then a 2nd for dissent.
