Morning Everyone, Brian McDermott has made clear he has no interest in selling Ross McCormack, yet the Evening Gazette claim the Leeds United manager âis prepared to offload the Scottish international for the right price.â Whats more, the Gazette claim that Boro want to complete the transfer in the next 24 hours. Is there smoke without fire??? Ross has been a target for a number of clubs including Blackpool and Middlesbrough. Lets not forget, McDermott is under pressure to reduce the Elland Road outgoings. That means he has to ship players out, befre he can bring them in. Right? Well, apparently not. Oour Chairman was speaking to Ben Jacobs when he dropped the bombshell that Leeds would find the money for one or two more players...... Thoughts peeps? Surely, one of these has to be Matt Mills, the other must be a winger???
I was going to say, lets look at the facts. Then I remembered we were talking about Leeds and nobody actually knows what the facts are because we get fed so much goop. Apparently!!!! We have no cash so BMD needs to offload players before new come in, and now the bombshell that new players will come soon? Ross is probably the last of our decent players, and would have been sacrificed under Bates, but maybe not this time. The manager rates Ross and Ross has told the world that he wants to be here. Why would he go to a town that has loads of his countryment sleeping in shop doorways. BMD has offloaded 3 players recently if you include Bromby, so maybe the club are doing a bit of haggling with the players, and they are greedy twats who are hoping for better offers elsewhere before the window closes. I'll never forgive Brown for preferring to sit on his arse at Pompy for 7-months, knowing he would never play for the club again, but preffered prem wages he was on and watch the club go into administration, rather than take a drop in wages and come and play football for us sooner than he did. If it turns out these players are waiting to see who else comes in, then they can fook off too.
Morning! If McCormack goes I will be very angry! In my opinion he is our most creative player we have at the club. As for players being brought in lets hope we get a good winger and centre back. MOT
Morning all!! Never a dull moment at Leeds. Find it hard to believe that McCormack would be sold regardless of who comes in as he is easily one of the best players we have, he WANTS to be at Leeds, and he understands the club and fans. With regard to players coming in, we do still have move existing players out or we will have too many who simply won't play and be a huge waste of money. So even if GFH find more money, I'd expect deals to be done to reduce our army of midfielders. At least we are finally having a summer of positive discussions, just shows how awful life was under the Bates Reich.
I'm expecting 4 or 5 players to go out on loan, once BMD knows his best squad and if and when these 2 new players come in. There are some players at the club who are decent but will not get a game, so need to go out on loan to get some game time. If Hall doesn't play tonight you may as well say bybye to him because he aint gonna make it here. A winger seems to be high on BMD's list and if Hall isn't gonna make it on one side, it will mean White staying and I prefer him to be offed elsewhere.
It will be Willie Mckay touting Ross around. Everyone knows he's a **** and he always does it with his players, he has always caused problems for Leeds in regards to Ross too
BMD is saying that Byrom may be out for a long time as he may need an operation fooking hell!!! Just read it on newsnow.

Kevin Blackwell has just said that he has agreed to take a youngster from the championship on loan and they are gonna announce it on Thursday. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was a Leeds player, we have sent a few to Bury if my memory serves me correctly
Yea Lees was there for a season (think he picked up there player of the season) but I thought Thompson and maybe a couple others were there as well
Morning all Yeah we seem to have a good working relationship with Bury, and players who have been there seem to get a lot of game time and come back having kicked on a bit. It wouldn't surprise me if it was Mowatt or Killock headed there. I think Dawson will go out for a couple of months, but he might go to a League One side I'd have thought. Really bad news about Byram if he does need an op though, we've obviously got Peltier there but he doesn't give us the same support going forward that we get out of Byram. That won't be as much of an issue if McDermott really is allowed to sign these two new players though I guess. If GFH are willing to find some cash for two players then that will be fantastic news, as a CB and a winger will really improve our squad. Like Doc said, I expect a few to go out on season loans as well, so that should free some money up in the wage bill (not enough for new players, but it will ease the strain a little at least).
Well Bury have just signed some youngster from Huddersfield on loan so I suppose it wasn't anyone from Leeds
Afternoon all - The manager said the target he hoped to sign before the season started was vital for his plans, with other things he has said pre-season I am in no doubt that this is Mills and that he would be team captain. IF we really had the funds to sign two more players we would have had Mills by now, just one of the reasons why I say GFH are wrong for the club, they say what they want us to hear.
Well last night and today BMD is saying that if this deal doesn't get done in the next day or two the player can forget it. Yes I quoted him correct "The player can forget it", which means that this player is fooking around waiting for a better offer. So it does sound like GFH made the offer and the offer was accepted, but the player whoever the twat is has been a greedy twat. Hope the manager has another target that he wants to tie up if this player (Mills) won't commit now
Diouf has just scored from a penalty in a BCD match, so he won't be playing tonight. But I'd like to see Hall start on one wing and White the other. Hall has to start tonight to show why he should continue to have a future at ER. White just needs to start to show that we can't afford to get rid of someone who has the one thing you can't train and that's difficult to buy; a player with pace.
