People pushing and yelling, like kids in a playground or maybe park Can understand why there was so much anger towards the Lord Mayor, Sinn Fein's Mairtin O Muilleoir (Martin Millar). He was one of the main ones that pushed for the removal of the Union Flag from City Hall. A little naive of him to think he could walk into the Shankill and not expect a reaction. Of course add this with the fact the parades commission banned the march up past Ardoyne and you can understand people's anger. As one person said it 'If we are not allowed to walk past, not through, past a republican area, then why should he be allowed to walk through a loyalist area.'
Depends where exactly and who you are or if you are known by the locals. As for the parade it goes past the oustkirts of a Republican area, not through it. People have to come to the edge of their area to see it. Internment parade this Friday from dissident republicans, so should kick off all over again.
