The "slayer" scores again!!!!! 90 min.equaliser.

 

You just can't hold a good man down.

 

Anyone else concerned that we had what Pardew appears to think is our strongest 11 on the field and yet could only muster a draw via a 90th min equaliser against a team that competes in a league which is a similar level to the conference in ability???

 

If Shola is only our 4th choice then that's fine with me. Don't renew his contract, just let him stay on and maybe pop up with some goals.

I know it's pre-season, but the bloke definitely does seem to score when he's bottom of the pecking order and fighting for a place.

Shola is **** when used in the first 11, but use him as a bit part sub and he's generally effective.

 

Shola scored a blinder at Blackpool, long live the Seagull slayer.

Yes, JUST A BIT, considering that apart from Remy in and one of the midfielders except Jonas out that will probably be the starting XI against Man C.

 

Surely Jonas can't be considered good enough now for a starting position. There again he is Pardew's fav.

 

I honestly cant see Jonas not picking himself when he gives the team to Pardew.

 

I've said it before and I'll say it again Shola only starts putting the effort in when
his contract is on the line

 

Keep him on a weekly basis.
