The Yellow/Blue thing has '3rd strip' written all over it. Never in a million years is it and away kit.
On the subject of strips why do some (most) clubs that play in stripes have the back in one solid block of colour... it might make the numbers easier to read but it looks god-awful and I hope we never go down that route.
Good call. The mags' strip is a bugger for it. They look like Spurs from the back! Good job they can still be disinguished by the piss-poor football
FA to Nike "you do realise that away shirt you made for everton has lots of blue in it, so when they play another team in blue, the kits will clash?" Nike guy "oh no. guess we'll have to make a third kit and sell that too then."
For money. The margin on getting names and numbers ironed on the back is mega, and a solid back encourages that
Perhaps the sleeves imitate a noticeable similarity to arm bands used for swimming, hence being taken by the pool. Just guessing
Reminds me of me when i'm round the pool although i usually wear shin pads and a captains armband aswell
