This was sent to me today... video put together by a Polish fan of Artur, about Boruc and Saints... featuring clips of him so far.

Watching that reminds me how unorthodox he is. But undoubtedly saved us points alone through some of those saves.

I like the little juggling bits against Chelsea and Reading too. Had forgotten that.

I think he's a real character. I love his star jump saves, and the way he legitimately took out Rooney was superb. Looking forward to long association with Artur at Saints.

I swear he spills the ball temporarily before he picks it up for a bit of drama!

The saves against Anichebe and Van Persie are just unbelievable. Will always remember that penalty save vs Norwich and the flick over Le Fondre's head.

Indeed his technique for getting down to 1-on-1s is fantastic, I really rate his shot-stopping but there's no other keeper I can think of who I would pick to face up against a player in a 1-on-1 ahead of him.

Also my favourite thing about his spills is he frequently seems so nonchalant about collecting them, where most keepers would panic and flap at the ball despite messing up he still acts cool, calm and in control.

Loved that DVD. Great saves, but also coolness under fire. His handflicks with opposition players so close are fantastic because he does it as if the ball is dead and there is nothing to worry about.

I love his starfish saves, the one against Coutinho is also brilliant. Had forgotten about some of those saves, thanks for posting DTLW.

We collectively like him now do we? But this forum and twitter told me that after he "confronted terrified Saints fans in the Chapel End" after he had "launched/kicked an incredibly dangerous water bottle" in their direction that he should "never play for Saints again".

Oh Saints fans, you fickle ****ers you.

Indeed. Those who are prone to the reaction post know who they are, and may have memories enough on one or two subjects to write their latest piece [whenever the next one occurs], read it through, go to hit Post Quick Reply and then withdraw from doing it. Then to think better of it and hit Cancel instead.

As are all football fans! But to be fair the reaction to the bottle throwing incident was very balanced on this site - not sure where your quotes come from. As I recall the thread seemed to conclude it was something and nothing and quickly moved on to a debate about Rangers / Celtic rivalry. You're probably thinking of Saints web which is a real embarrassment to fan forum sites. This site is without doubt the best site to come on with a wide range of views that seemed to be respected by most.

Great video by the way. Is Laurab still on here? Big Boruc fan as I recall and would love that.

Is that Fox that he is pushing and trying to jeer up about half a minute in? It wouldn't surprise me.

It's Fonte. It was immediately after the penalty save against Norwich, Jose ran to Boruc to celebrate even though the ball hadn't gone out of play, Boruc essentially told him to **** off and get on with defending.

    It's Jose isn't it?

When he saved the penalty at Norwich, Jose ran over to him to celebrate and he pushed him and shouted about the ball still being in play.

Of course. Boruc wouldn't even bother with Fox, lost cause. Great attitude from Boruc there.
