Why's JFK parading him around instead of Pards ?

I hope there's a buy clause at the end of the season, no mention of it though it hopefully pards will reveal all in his next interview.

Now for Gomis, Bent can suck my left knacker now that we've got Remy.

Unlike our poor cousins who will have virtually a full team of players who have never kicked a premiership ball
Remy has proved he can do it over here

As much as this guy is a quality player, am I the only one who absolutely doesn't want him here, even on loan? I don't want Newcastle in for any player who's up on a rape charge, ever. Admittedly, there's a chance he didn't do it, but IMO we shouldn't even consider it until he's cleared- and even then, personally, I'd rather steer well clear. Some food for thought:

    http://www.independent.co.uk/voices...nd-the-myth-of-false-accusations-8117582.html

I'm not going to slaughter him under the assumption that he's guilty- but if you're hoping he's found innocent, you have to consider the likelihood that you're hoping yet another rapist with expensive lawyers gets away with it cos he's a footballer.

Also (though this is insignificant compared to the rape charge), has everyone forgot that this joker left us hanging and decided to go and join QPR's sinking ship for a few extra quid in January, then couldn't wait to get away once they dropped? I'd have much preferred it if we'd just signed Gomis and and a decent youngster as backup and tell this clown "sorry, you missed your chance"...

I saw this morning that it is being detailed as £2m fee for the loan with an option to buy for £6.5m.

That is sensible business considering his potential option to languish in gaol at HM's discretion (depending on the outcome in September).

Still think we need two more really. If we get one injury (Cisse) and Remy ends up in jail we will be back to Shola leading the line.

However on the positive the montage looks great, his movement and pace look tough to counter and if we can keep him on the pitch we will (hopefully) be entertained.

Won't be in jail in September. He hasn't been charged yet.

All that happens in September is that his police bail comes up for review. They can extend the bail, charge him or drop the whole thing. Even if they charge him, he'll be here till the January sales. Nonetheless, the loan with option is the best way to proceed until we know how that is going to pan out

Well, this is what I couldn't quite understand - Remy performed really well in a god-awful QPR side, is a really excellent talent and has scored goals everywhere he's been. He's only 26 and has experience of this division. How, then, did Spurs decide it was a good idea to spend £26m on Soldado?

Cracking signing and well worth the wait. We still need more. Gomis and Ince would be ideal.

You incredibly lucky people, Ashley has once again pulled off a blinder for you. Cant believe the incompetent dumb arses at our place haven't forced you to pay the full buy out clause. Remy will score plenty for you and you'll soon start to think of offloading Cisse who isn't in this guy's class at finishing.
And as has been pointed out, he hasn't even been charged with anything yet!!
