With Newcastle rumoured to be the latest club interested in signing Izzy, can we realistically keep hold of him, Kayal and Hooper if decent bids come in?

And what sort of transfer fee should we be looking for?

On the other hand, if half-decent bids come in for Sammy and Loovens then bye-bye.

It's all close-season bluster and rumour.

Izzy is ****e. He'll be FLOP next season.

Kayal is half decent, Ledley is class.

Can't see any Engerlish clubs bidding decent cash for SPL players unless they have done it in Europe.

If Liverpool are happy to pay £35m for Andy Carroll then I can't see why they wouldn't pay decent fees for SPL players.

Of course, it's all relative. What constitutes a 'decent bid' for an SPL players? £5m for Izzy?

You'll get £2m for Izzagayblade currently.

I honestly don't see what the hype is with that peculiar looking ****.

Defensively, he is ****e and he's ok going forward, that's it.

Izzy was a breath of fresh air last season. He's a decent defender as his pace let's him get back quickly but it's so good to see an attacking full-back overlapping and getting crosses into the box.

However, I reckon he'll sign an improved deal and stay for at least another season. Same with Kayal as he looks like he really enjoys playing for the club. But money talks and the lure of the EPL might prove too strong.

The one good thing though is that Lennon and the team spend the money wisely and have a good eye for a bargain (apart from Murphy!) so I would expect quality replacements.

A bit of a mystery is Juarez. Looked like a good player in the opening few games but it all seemed to go downhill after his ban from the Mexican international team.

We've all heard the rumours but who knows?

Overall Lenny has unearthed a few good ones this season - e.g. Izzy, Kayal, Ledley. These are all worth far more than we paid a year ago. The value we got out of Wilson and Mulgrew was a bonus. The likes of Murphy were only ever going to be back-ups and cost liitle or nothing. Juarez is a strange one looks like he's out of favour for whatever reason - still if he's sold we'll get our money back so no real loss there. The added bonus is we didn't have to resort to signing the likes of EHD or paying Fat Beattie to sit on the Blackpool bench.

If Celtic get a bid of £3.5/4 mill for Izzy then take it. I'd want him to stay for another season though.
Kayal - about 4/5 million should be the starting place for bids - he needs to be getting a new contract!
Get another season or two from Hooper and hope he keeps banging them in - 4/5 million
Juarez - hopefully Celtic can get there money back on him
    Sammy - £0.5/1mill
    Loovens - £0.5 mill
    Maloney - £0.5/1 mill

I recon that teams will want more time to access Kayal before they would stump up big bids, Izzy however should be ok will mid to lower league teams want such an attacking fullback?

Newcastle were dumb enough to pay £8million for Boumsong so I don't see why Celtic can't hold out for something similar for any of our top players.

Plus Ally's in charge now so we should have the league sewn up by November with or without any decent players in our side. I hear he's after a Brazilian `defender` to make things funnier...recommended by....Lorenzo Amorouso.
