Realistically you have to imagine he wouldn't be keen on a move to Saints. Ramirez and Wanyama were one thing, but this guy plays for a very good team and he's probably La Liga's best playmaker outside of the top two.
I find it strange that if a bid had been accepted that not one major media outlet would've picked up on it, here or in Spain. Banega is not a low profile player, he doesn't play for a low profile team and a potential move to Saints would be pretty big news given the stature of the player in comparison to the buying club. Look at the Soldado transfer, was all over the press from pretty much the first bid being put in
How do you know this? I've seen it reported nowhere that our bid has been accepted? If this is true, then I'd presume he's waiting on a better offer. Odd, though. Thought Valencia would want to keep him, being one of their best players.
The guy that told me about us bidding for Wanyama about a month and half before we actually signed him. I trust him as he has never made up **** before. He also said a few other bits as well. I can see Banega staying this season then leaving next season.
Yeah, he's pretty much their man man now, and he loves it there, so unless Valencia are desperate to sell, which I can't see, he'll stay.
Had the pleasure of seeing him in action today in new york...great performance and remarkable goal!I want this man at our club
Watched this film the other night. Diana Rigg symbolises the Banega deal and George Lazenby symbolises all Saints fans!
The scene where she gets shot was filmed in Portugal on the Serra de Arrabida overlooking the Troia peninsula. Next to Setubal where Jose Mourinho is from and also next to Palmela where my wife comes from. Boring and useless info there but...............drool = Diana Rigg in her younger days Ive been down that road many times over the past 'x' years of mariage'dom'. Staying with the in-laws is such a chore. lol
