Penalty stas

    Anyone know how to get hold of penalty stats. Specifically which team gave away the most. I have a sneaking suspicion we might be up near the top.

    I remember seeing something that Arsenal have, over the last 10 years, been consistently awarded more penalties than any other team. I'll try and find it!

    6 conceded. I'm surprised it was that low with Hutton in the team!

    Off the top of my head Hutton and Gomes both gave away two each. Once they're gone hopefully we can get a lower total next year, aslong as we don't sign Eboue!

    Bassong gave away one at Blackpool too, but I can't remember what the other was.

    Oh yeah, looks like he's off too and I think the other one might have been Benny. We should keep him though :-D

    Come to think of it, one of Huttons was in the FA Cup so there must have been another. This is going to bug me all day now :-(

    Against Blackpool at WHL.
    Dawson, then Gomes.
    That's two.

    Bassong at Blackpool. 3.
    Hutton at Wolves. 4.
    Dawson against Fulham in the FA Cup. Still 4.
    Gomes against Chelsea at WHL. 5.
    Assou-Ekotto at Bolton. 6.

    I wonder what the refs were thinking that year?
    39 penalties given, compared to this year's 101.
