Maybe. Twitter folk were yesterday dismissing the photo as being 'taken in a London shopping center'. We'll just have to wait (probably for an interminable amount of time unfortunately!) and see.

 

We are very close to signing Remy according to the latest ramblings of Joe Kinnear:


"We're very close to agreeing that.

"Maybe Monday or Tuesday we'll be in a position to say yea or nay."


JK also commented on Bent:

Yup, Sky Sports saying so too. Holy fcking crap. I mean, I've wondered if we'd get Remy & Gomis, but never necessarily thought we would. But on the verge of having Gomis, Cisse and Remy up front??

 

Remy - Cisse/Gomis - HBA in a 4-3-3? Not getting a top 10 finish with that potential front line would be a horrible failure imo.

Not to be a pessimist but I will believe it when its confirmed by the club!!

But to see Remy and Gomis holding up the Toon shirt, and with no players actually moving on yet, hopefully this will convince the so called 'star players' to stick around for another season.

Yes, I couldn't care what went on in January. If we turn our nose up at him for that we are just being stupid. I can see why he went to QPR if they had of stayed up theyd be in a much better place to progress than we currently are now.
