The Square Ball on Saturday mentioned a rumour (I think via the YEP) that Ken Bates had tried to buy LUTV, Yorkshire Radio, the Leeds United Website, Matchday Programme & Radio Commentary Rights for 2 million from GFH a few weeks ago. Instead GFH signed up with the BBC, closed Yorkshire Radio & reopened a brand new Internet Site. So I wonder if the new website was designed to keep the fingers of the old regime out? Anyway have faith with the new site guys & remember that its teething problems are well worth it!!!
Better than Bates TV ! I am willing to let them iron out the kinks. They are having to re-do everything to get rid of the cancer.
If true, great to learn that GFH turned down short term gain for long term best interests. Keeping Bates anywhere near the club in any capacity or manner would not have been good for the club in the long run. Potentially very destabilising.
It may well be. Unlike LUTV which is total and utter crap, and not worth 50p a year let alone 50 quid. I thought taking the piss out of the paying customers was no longer the done thing. If anyone is thinking of shelling out for LUTV based on the current (lack of ) performance, I would advise you not to. It just does not work. Oh and they don't reply to emails, either.
I know what you're saying 20, but they do reply eventually. Pity they played around with the old site. Even I, as a confirmed technophobe, managed to make it work
LUTV needs to be sorted, still awful and inconsistent. I'm sure GFH will be aware of this and hopefully its next on their radar.
