From The People, so it's probably completely made up.... Hull City manager Steve Bruce has reportedly identified both Alou Diarra and Stephane Mbia to boost his midfield options. Thirty-two-year-old Diarra joined West Ham United in 2012, but he has only made three appearances for the Upton Park-based outfit and spent the second half of last season on loan with French side Rennes. Meanwhile, Mbia is thought to be keen on a move away from Queens Park Rangers, who were relegated to the Championship at the end of the last campaign. Having allowed both Tom Cairney and Corry Evans to leave the KC Stadium, Bruce is keen to have both players on board before the start of the new season, according to The People. Hull start life back in the Premier League with a trip to Chelsea on Sunday, August 18.
Whenever I've seen Mbia play he's been turd. He's rated though I think, so must have something. Noticed Jenas was on the bench for QPR yesterday, Barton got the nod instead. Should've been sent off too...
Would take M'bia to be fair played more as a box to box midfielder at QPR whereas if he joined I could see him playing in the anchor role. One that should suit him more.
How the hell is Diarra a mercenary he signed for West Ham last summer and can't get into the team so wants to leave.

They're the type of players who aren't that good, but if we were to get relegated they'd refuse to turn up to training, or something equally as ****ish.
11 clubs a s a pro, admittedly some on loan. Signed by Houllier way back and never played for Liverpool, always loaned out. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ra-attacks-West-Ham-claiming-You-lied-me.html From wiki i know but "On 10 August 2012, Diarra moved back to England to join West Ham United on a three-year contract, for an undisclosed fee.[86] After joining West Ham United, Diarra said he was delighted to join the club and was looking forward to play in the Premier League.[87] Chairman Vincent Labrune said he had been sold in order to reduce the wage bill.[88] Diarra made his debut for West Ham on 25 August in a 3–0 away defeat to Swansea City coming on as a 69th minute substitute for Mohamed Diamé.[89] Having made three appearances, Diarra first team opportunities soon became limited when he soon suffered thigh strain during training in September.[90] In the January transfer window, Diarra made a request to leave the club and criticised Sam Allardyce for holding him back by not explaining his [Allardyce] team selection. Diarra also said that his time at West Ham United has become a waste of time [91] After the move, Diarra claimed he was conned when his "well known" agent lied to him to join West Ham United.[92] Diarra would also criticise West Ham United for his pre-season training schedule, having finished Euro 2012.[93] Loan move to Rennes[edit source | editbeta] On 31 January 2013 (the transfer deadline), Diarra joined Rennes, on loan until the end of season.[94] Several days after returning to France, Diarra made his debut, coming on as a substitute, providing assist for debutants Axel Ngando, who just comes on as a substitute in a late minutes, and score his first goal to settle a draw with Lorient.[95] However, later in the season, Diarra would went to make thirteen appearance and return to West Ham United after manager Frédéric Antonetti publicity criticised Diarra, claiming "he has not been able to give all that he could give". Criticised while out on loan as not putting it in. Think my comment stands.
It's one being bandied about, I wouldn't say no, particularly if we're looking for 2-3 new central midfielders. Apparently they've slapped a £4.5m price tag on him though, and I'd be hesitant to even pay three.
Talking with my Mackem mate, earlier....Colback is good, but my mate reckons the £4.5m is a PdC ruse to piss clubs off. Di Canio wants him to stay, but JC wants away.
