Gervinho did have something to offer every now and again so him leaving will weaken us to an extent. However, I do not believe we would have sold him if we hadn't a replacement lined up.

Chamakh has reportedly joined Palace on loan.

He did well in the Dutch League but injuries ruined his Wigan spell. HE's young enough to recover from it and I think he'll come good.

If it was up to me I would loan Ryo abroad to a less physical league he can thrive in. That way when we sell him we may get a decent fee for him. I do not see him having a future with Arsenal at all. He can't handle the intensity/physical nature of the Championship and he is not good enough for another PL club.

Gnabry is the future and I expect him to feature more next season along with Bellerin and Zelalem. I would loan Chuba to a Championship club.

Have you watched much of Ryo batman? He is lightning quick, has a good shot, good cross, very direct - and good references from the managers he hasplayed under.

And to top it off he is asian and having an asian player in our squad would help our global growth of fans and financial aims in the far east.

I'm not sure whether he will ever be good enough to be a starting player at Arsenal, but i could see him becomming a good squad player like Park was for Utd.

Personally i really hope he does make it, i like his style of play. He is still young and has plenty of time to bulk up - people said the same about theo.

That is the only reason he is here. Yes he is quick but he doesn't have a football brain and his technique is almost as limited as Gervinho's. He offers absolutely nothing to Arsenal except market appeal.

Wrong. That's why he garnered praise at Fernywood, Bolton and even with his limited spell at Bolton. That's why Wenger highly rates him right?
Or maybe Wenger saw a good raw player and wants to mold him into a superstar

I think thats harsh. For me he is one of our most exciting young prospects. Along with Zelalem, Miquel, Olsson and Gnabry they are the players i want to see more of.

His style is very direct, he is fast with and without the ball, he can pick out a good ball into the box and has a good shot on him. He wasdeveloping very nicely up until last season where injuries hampered his progress.

I'd like to see him go on loan to a team like Swansea or Norwich but any premiership team will do if we can sort a loan deal out. Bolton wanted him back last season but we wanted him to get game time in the premiership, so if possible i'm sure it'll be another premiership loan but otherwise there will be foreign teams and championship teams that would want him.

I'd like to believe that he will feature for Arsenal, but if he's going to make it then he will have to feature in some capacity for us this coming season. Even a carling cup outing would be a good start. If he gets shipped out again and struggles, then I can see him leaving. But hope he makes It as he is an exciting player.

Agreed. Gnabry is a far more promising prospect, he does have the brain (he's german after all) and physicality to suceed.

Miyaichi plays with freedom and is exciting to watch. When he was in Holland and at Bolton he played like an established player in the middle of his career. Thats why i think he will still make it despite an injury plagued spell at Wigan which didn't work out.

Also in pre-season he looks like he has bulked up from the very small size he was before and it is a similar criticism that was aimed at Walcott until he bulked up more. He can work on adapting to the physicality of the league whilst on loan at a premiership club. If he doesn't get aloandealstraight away i look forward to seeing him in the League Cup.

Have people read Martino's comments on Cesc tonight? Reading between the lines, I think he might want to leave.

Martino "I've spoken with Cesc, I've told him my idea. We want him to stay, he's one of the best. It's up to him, it's his choice."

    Choose Arsenal, Cesc.

I really will hate it if Cesc signs for Utd. I couldn't bare to see RVP and Fabregas dominating the league together in Utd shirts....

If he is available we've got to get him - we can afford it, we know he loves the club - can't let the opportunity pass us by.

Agreed. Ryo is very quick. But he's a bit of a headless chicken. He has little strength also. Doesn't have the technique or intelligence to make up for it either.

People said the exact same things about strength and intelligence for Theo and he has come good.

Ryo is young and has only had a couple of seasons of playing football at a good level, he can build his strength and his decision making. And technique will improve with time. He is very direct and exciting to watch which is what i like.

With the possibility of players like Suarez, Fabregas, Bender, ending up playing for us this season, yet still the possibility of us getting none of them - this transfer window could still go down as one of the best or one of the worst in Wengers time. I think the club are hoping to get at least a couple of big signings but there are so many little difficulties in getting any of them done! I'm glad it's not my job :p

Anyone know what's happening with ibrahemovic at PSG? I dont think it would cost that much in transfer fee 20 odd million, wages would be massive but **** it, we could give him a big signing on fee and could aford close to 200k a week. Short term fix I know, but would love to see him join us. Thoughts?
