Away from the top 6, does anyone see any of the bigger clubs possibly in a relegation battle alongside the likes of Yeovil, Barnsley and Hudders?
I think Boro and Blackpool will struggle and good get sucked into it. I hope Yeovil do well, i like it when the underdog surprises people, but i suspect they will get a few hammerings.
I want Yeovil to do well just cos it will piss off the snobs that think they don't deserve to do well! "they're a small town club, they don't deserve to be in the championship nevermind the BPL. Imagine that, Yeovil in the BPL? "
Someone put Leeds 4th. I'd be very surprised if they finish above 10th. There's some great sides in this year's Championship: Watford, Leicester, Bolton, Wigan, QPR, Forest, Reading. Leeds are miles behind all of those teams. It's possible that one of the relegated sides could struggle to adapt like they did last season, but whatever happens, there's loads of better sides than Leeds. Also I agree with BCC that Boro will struggle and who was it that said Ipswich would be a surprise package? Nah.
No we didn't. We got back to back after getting promoted from League 2. We almost got relegated after getting promotion from League 1. Didn't Saints and Norwich both do it?
1. Blackburn 2. Bolton 3. QPR 4. Ipswich 5. Reading 6. Wigan 22. Bournemouth 23. Doncaster 24. Huddersfield
Can understand the Ipswich suggestion, they did brilliantly when McCarthy came in and that was before he had the chance to build his own team. He made the defensively very strong and McCarthy's got teams promoted before. If it wasn't for the stronger than usual squads of some teams this season I'd have considered Ipswich too.
