In seriousness I would love to fast forward to 1st September right now, I always look forward to the transfer window, mainly because I have forgotten how stressful it is!

 

Banega and Damaio sign on deadline day for a combined fee of £30m.

I'm not expecting a Kevin Keegan moment before the transfer window closes, but also I'd rather we signed nobody else if it turns out that we're going after a Delgado-type player with an ultra dubious past and injury/fitness, and who is at the latter end of his career, because we haven't been able to secure the services of our prime target.

Internacional and Damaio had Spurs dangling for several transfer windows. I don't want it to happen to us.

 

It would make winning the league on FM a piece of piss.
