I think we've done good business but that doesn't mean we've done enough business.

Got to agree disco, fullbacks for me would mean excellent business! A CREATIVE MIDFIELDER! Well that means Paolo has done more in one window than any manager for 10 years. If he gets 3 in, I think we are going to see the best Sunderland team since Reid. I have been very encouraged by what I saw in Asia. So I'm fairly happy right now but I know we need more. I'm starting to feel that Paolo could do more for this club than we all thought possible. I've had a beer but that's what my gut is telling me. Who knows? I have a feeling it will no doubt be bumpy I think we will thrash a few but will take a thrashing too! One thing I do think is that we will see the best football we've seen in a good few years and that makes me happy :)

Yes because we have kept Sess and strengthened the first 11. Other than that i still think we are lightweight in relation to the overall squad and still need a few more through the door. If the window shut now and we picked up a few injuries, we would be screwed.

Done saome very good business so far, but we need fullbacks and a player like Manu Fernandes. Get these 3, and I will be as happy as a pig in Newcastle.

    this ^

I think we`d all agree there is still unfinished business, but if that was it (bearing in mind none of other teams could change anything either) I think we`ve done well.

Don`t agree. I think we`ve got enough now for 16-17th.
Looking at it positively I`m thinking each new player now worth 1-2 league places.
    Might be over-optimistic like.

(If they`re the ones we`ve all been saying we need of course).

We wont go down but we desperately need full backs and a creative midfielder.

Injury to colback or gardner we'd be snookered, we simply cant afford to start the season without a natiral lb and rb

If it closed now Arsenal fans would be absolutely furious haha

I'm obviously not an Arsenal fan but I do like them a lot out of the top teams and they are on the crisp of challenging for the league if they add 2/3 quality signings like Suarez, Fellaini etc, must be so frustrating for them to hear all the "we can challenge the very best in the transfer market" and get gazumped by Napoli.

Agree totally with you mate, our cover for the whole of the back four positions is Roberge (CB), Cuellar (CB) & Diakate (Injured CB), its not enough for the Premier League.

Thats why i don't agree we are trying to off-load before we buy now, we NEED 2 fullbacks, its a basic right to every football team.

I know we beat everton because colback had his best game in a red & white shirt, but what did they do for 90 mins, baines abd pienaar attacked what they thought would be the weak link, thankfully for us he had a blinder, we couldnt sustain that for a period of games it wouldnt take long for opposing teams to break it down i reckon, we need natural players in natural positions all over the park with depth in the squad

Couldnt agree more mate, its trying to convince some people that there is more to a fullback than "doing a job" for the odd game, if you notice the only time Colback has blinders at full back its a defensive blinder, but offers nothing attacking wise and thats nothing against Colback as thats all he was put there to do.

I always use Baines as an example of what a proper fullback could offer us, he has blinders defensively and attacking and it gives the team a totally different dimension to their game, which we have missed since Micky Gray and Danny Rose was improving every game in this role last season.
