Bony, will be a class player. When he get's more games under his belt, and fitter, this lad could easily get 20+ goals this season.
Thanks mate, we looked a little bit off the pace at times but its still pre season . I was a little bit worried about the difference in fitness but we kept the ball well enough for it not to matter too much, i'll be there at malmo next week and im hoping for a nice comfortable night !!
A Cardiff supporting friend of mine said that Bony would be a flop and not get 12 goals this season. I bet him a pint for every goal he gets and that he would score at least 1 for each million he cost. I took great joy in texting him twice during the game!
Thanks Paulo Was a very good performance, obviously the opponents aren't even close to our level, but you still have to control the game in the right way and we did it really well. New guys looked good, team looks pretty gelled already despite several new signings and there's good squad depth. Very pleased
Easy to get carried away after tonight's result, but when you think about our squad it's fooking dreamy! Quality in depth!
I think we could still do with 1 more striker, if Bony or Michu get injured we'll have problems. They'll be a formidable pairing if they stay fit. I think they should start bringing Donnelly through as well, the boy knows how to score.

that was very easy in the end, they used the first half to perfection keeping the ball well, I hope we put in the same performance in the second leg and not sit back on a 4 goal lead,.....shelvey was outstanding and bony's vision and understanding with michu was out of this world. My man of the match would be the whole team but if i was pushed then its a toss up between shelvey and bony and ill give it to shelvey for his accurate passing..
We didn't have a striker on the bench tonight - so we definitely need another striker. A great win, very pleased with 4-0 and nice to see some of our newcomers scoring. Shelvey had a mixed bag - did some very good things but then gave the ball away cheaply and too often. I think he just needs a bit more concentration and he could be a great signing for us. Bony had two "strikers" goals - just what we need and our fourth goal was outstanding. Thought Malmo were a good side and were dangerous on the break - so to beat them 4-0 is outstanding. Last word for the Malmo fans who I thought were outstanding throughout - as were ours. I thought the atmosphere was great, long may the European nights continue.
