In truth Joe, I agree with Brian Clough. Less talk and more football.

Gary Neville put the BBC chumps to shame.

They seriously need to get rid of Statler and Waldorf (Lawro and Hansen), Shearer is the most boring man ever to appear on TV, followed closely by Owen. Savage is a clown, Robbie Fowler & Sir Les WTF!!!!!

For **** sake, I pay my BBC Poll tax to fund these half wits. I would get Claridge in, he's good and despite being a fish fiddler, has opinions (You know those things that the BBC fence sitters don't seem to posses) , I also like Stewart Robson who is on Talk sport a lot.

It's all too friendly and too cosy, there must be people like Sir Geoff Boycott in the ranks of exfootballers. Shake it up, a bit.

And if that moron Garth Crookes is on, let's it. I'd rather listen to Garth Brookes view on football than that clown.

I agree with a lot of this too. Steve Claridge is excellent. I don't why people dislike Garth Crooks so much. He's a character and speaks his mind. I think he believes he's pointing out something that other people haven't seen, but apart from that, he's OK. Pat Nevin is also good, as is Dion Dublin. There really aren't many I'd bother to listen to.

I'd like Boycs on there once in a while. I'd love to see the Premiership superstars reacting to his "my mum would have scored that", or "he could have saved that with a stick of rhubarb".

I haven't watched any football analysis for years now. What a load of rubbish. At least Ian Wright was entertaining.

The only good thing about the Beebs' football coverage is Gary Lineker.

"See, what he's done there, is slotted the ball home. I think he'll be really happy with that."

    Cheers, Alan.

I think the main problem is that Gary Neville has come along and shown that pundits can actually add real insight. People kind of put up with the status quo prior to that.

Wasn't a pop! I always thought Holden had real ability. Seems his career has gone that way and there's no turning it around, sadly.

I know. Really feel for Holden as I thought he was a really good player before his injuries.

He should pack it in now before he ends up damaging his quality of life in his later years.
