Is that STILL going?! How long does it take to decide a winner? We're playing the same team, it can't be that hard to win!
I won't, because I won't be watching it. Are they touring Australia to play Austrailia? Does playing at different grounds change the game at all?
Dunno if you're being serious or not. Surely, you're aware of what the Ashes are. And whose involved. Even if you're not a fan of cricket. It's tradition mate. You play 5 Tests in England and 5 in Australia. They're doing it back to back this year, because there's the world cup Down Under coming up and England looked knackered last time they played Aus Down Under, and then had to go play the WC in India/ Bangladesh & Sri Lanka.
It does, but we don't play the same team 38 times. Although, in Guernsey, I believe their top division has just two teams that play each other 19 times (including a cup final)
The Guernsey league has seven teams in it. They also have Guernsey FC who complete in the English leagues.
Sorry, I just checked it, it's the Scilly Isles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isles_of_Scilly_Football_League
This test has draw all over it already. We need Manchester overcast and dark clouds quick. 150 for 3 wkts the Ozzies.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was an Aussie win. England's batting is very hit and miss (excuse the pun!). 300-3 now.
