Almost every loan has a fee, it just doesnt always get announced. It is a myth that a loan is a 'free' player.
Surely it's a bit of a rip-off if any loan deal can be cancelled, especially if a fee has been paid. I hate these loans with recall clauses, they always seem to end up getting recalled when they're doing well. This happened with Stockdale, Meyler and Elmo last season. When a loan fee has been paid for a season long loan it's unusual for it to be cancelled and if it is, then the loan fee has to be refunded.
