Partner him with Hudson and we should be fine at centre back now. Hudson had a few rough edges when he came to us, now I worry when he isn't on the team sheet!

Caulker is a good signing, and I think we're only one or so away now from a team for the prem in the holding midfield, as although we had Gunnar, without him I can see us struggling... But that's for another thread!

Was having a beer with a business colleague who is a Manure fan and he told me of the transfer. Had to check on my phone before I believed it. Great signing.

Fantastic signing for you, when we had him I still say he's the reason we struggled since, at 19 he showed the senior members in our club up. Followed his career since with interest because I believe he is a England captain in waiting.
Well done even though i banter with some of you, I always thought you would stayed up in the Prem, now I'm convinced you have bought the player to drive you on.

 

Caulker is a fantastic player and he will become an England regular. Great bit of business by Malky, he's worth every penny of what you paid for him. Loved watching him at the Liberty and was gutted we couldn't sign him permanently - was a favourite with us and will definitely be the same for you!

I know exactly what you mean about Levy, but 8 mill for a 21yr old pacey, ball playing, English CB with 2 years PL experience and an international cap doesn't seem ridiculous to me.

 

It was about as ridiculous as £650K for Fraizer.
