What's your thoughts on who you think should or will start after watching the pre season performances?

Chico is looking doubtful "Amat in"
And in Laudrup's latest interview he said there is also another player injured but didn't want to give anything away.
    What's you're thoughts?

    That's a very useful line-up.

    Subs?

    Dyer: (covers wide positions)

    JdG: (covers attack midfield)

Ki: (covers defensive/attack midfield or emergency CB)

    Taylor: (covers both full backs)

    Canas: ( covers defensive midfield)

Pozuelo: (covers attack midfield or emergency striker)

    Tremmell.

We are spoilt for choice, lads. Happy with the suggested line-up and equally happy to use any of the subs. I'm guessing that if we win at home we will see both Canas and Leon in the return leg.

Did anyone who went to reading notice any player who might be carrying an injury or took a knock during the game, I would like to know the other player who is injured

If none of you saw the interview today:

Nobody to me looked like they picked up a knock. Only one I can think of that went off was Ben. Ash was limping in the first half after his cracking tackle, but he still played all the game.

I think Tremmell will play. He was the choice in the league cup last year, so he should carry on in these games until he gets injured or loses form.

    Just found this on twitter

@pjcadden: Nipped across to Swansea's training ground earlier for open session. Pablo Hernandez only first-team player missing. Tight groin.

Think we might have found the injured player

If it is Hernandez, then we have some excellent cover in Dyer.

Whatever team Laudrup puts out will be the right one IMO :)

Yep and this might be the perfect opportunity for Poz to get some game time

I'd only be worried if it was a defender, Michu or Bony.

Here's mine (given Hernandez seems to be out)

    ----------------------- Vorm ---------------------------
    ------------- Amat ----------- Ash --------------------
    Rangel --------------------------------------B. Davies
    -------------------------- Leon ------------------------
    --------------- Shelvey --------------------------------
    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Pozuelo ------------- Michu --------------- Routledge
    ---------------------- Bony ----------------------------

Bench: Tremmel, Taylor, Monk, Canas, Ki, De Guzman and Dyer

4 difficult decisions for me = Tremmel v Vorm, Taylor v B. Davies, Canas v Britton and Dyer v Pozuelo

A worry I've got is that the centre-back partnership of Amat and Ash hasn't exactly been tested this pre season and Malmo have good young forwards who know where the net is.

This Europa tie and the Man U opener is the acid test for me, if we go through and look comfortable doing it and get a result v Man U the confidence will rocket and we will be off!

I think we all know what the team will be, if Hernandez is out, then it's a toss between Dyer and Pozuelo. Still a strong team. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thats pretty much how I see although maybe Monk in for Amat ,at least there is a already partnership there and Ash will know what he needs to do in that respect.Gutted that Pablo's out though , he's been flying in the preseason games and it's games he needs atm.

Wouldn't be surprised to see De Guzman start as ML had a lot of faith in him last year - not shared by me!

Agree , he did go missing on a number of occasions but we have a strength in all positions now so he'll have to earn his place this year.
