Firstly, a disclaimer. I'm not assuming it will happen or dooming us before the season starts. I just want to see what peoples reactions would be if in a hypothetical situation.

What if this season doesn't go to plan, come March/April we are bottom three with no signs of change, similar to our second season in the prem. Would you like to see Bruce replaced to give us a last ditch shot at staying up, a la Brown and Dowie, or would it be better to stick with Bruce and keep the stability built over the last two season?

    Stick with Bruce, 100%.

I never personally agreed with getting rid of Brown before the end of the season, no matter how bad he was.

We would just end up with another Dowie. And still go down.

If we go down, we go down. We'd be back.

I really couldn't care if we went down because I know we'll be outstanding the following season and would come back much stronger.

I'm hoping we're modelling ourselves on the WBA mould.

Not even a close decision, stick with Bruce 100%. He is a first class manager, he's got us up at the first opportunity & he would do it again.

    This, a thousand times, this.

Getting rid of PB was a mistake but I'm 99% sure AP only did it because of the financial situation. We simply couldn't afford relegation, we had to take a massive gamble on a new manager having some sort of 'honeymoon' effect to keep us up. If we didn't have the financial problem we could have let PB finish what he started and see where it got us.

Must stick with Bruce, if we go down then like West Brom as long as we build positively, then I would be happy to be a yoyo club for 2 or 3 seasons, so that we finally become a EPL regular.

See what the season brings. Brown was sacked too late, not too early.

It depends if Bruce does a Brownie and sticks with his favourite formation and favourite players to the detriment of the team. So, in other words, if he sticks to his defensively awful 3-5-2 and Junior gets in the squad...

Stick with Bruce. The question would be though would Bruce want to put himself through another Championship season?

Stick with Bruce. Even if we go down he has proved he is good enough to get us out of the Championship. Though I can already imagine the morons ringing in to Blunderside calling for his head.

You should have made this a poll, even though so far it has been everyone sticking with Bruce...
