Juventus currently has 6 strikers as they bought two this summer, so they have announced a clear out of the four who were already there and when you look at the names and who are interested I cannot help but think we can beat the likes of Norwich to signing one of them. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1509897/juventus-plan-sell-strikers?cc=5739 Although unlikely due to costs (we have already spent alot this summer) it would be nice to get our second striker from the four they are looking to trim.
Laudrup did say we're in the market for another striker and with European football might be worth a shot
Vucinic or Giovinco would be QUALITY! Looks like Quagliarella is on his way to Norwich (who are starting to look pretty good actually)....don't know too much about Matri, but he's had 5 caps and has a good scoring record, so I'd be happy with any of those...would test our wage budget for a backup striker though....
Moving to a new country and new league, i'm not sure you wanna join a team who've just doubled their record transfer for a striker and only play 1 up top (and have a number 10 who played 9 and scored goals there last season). Someone playing and scoring for Juventus last season is likely to want to be as nailed on for the start every week as possible, which he won't be here.
I like Giovinco but he's not a striker really. He would be competing for Michu's spot so can't see that. Quagriella is too old for the money they could expect and his wages (along with vucinic) would be really high. Matri would be my choice (he can also play on the wing).
Exhibit 1!!!......................... Jordi Lopez! What a poor player he was for us, swim your incorrigible mate!..............................
