Palacios would be a great signing but looking unlikely now. Jenas is at best a championship player now.
Disagree completely. As a Spur's fan whose watched him over the years he has always blown a bit hot and cold but he gives 100% every game and will fight tooth and nail for you next season if you sign him. Bruce is also the kind of manager that would get the best out of him. Even if you use him as a rotation players his experience will be invaluable to Chester, Stewart, Aluko, Bruce, Brady, Sagbo etc. You need to look at the bigger picture and be less narrow minded - there is not much midfield cover at Hull and a lot of inexperienced players.
21 England caps and your saying he isn't good enough. He is just what we need and has the experience. We should forget about Palacios now i think.
We'll still be chasing a more defensive midfielder, signing Jenas won't stop us going after Palacios.
We are a newly promoted Hull city Tigers side. All we can reasonably expect,is to try and improve on the players we already have, without splashing the kind of cash it would take to sign the likes of Gareth Bale. Jenas would fit that criteria.
The stats don't lie.... You have to go back to 2008/09 to see my decent stats against Jenas. People on here are romanticising about the player he was, not the player he is today.
You might want to step away from Football Manager. Unfortunately for you, our bids for Ronaldo, Messi and Bale were rejected.
Jenas should be a desperation deadline day deal if and when all other options have been exhausted. More decent players will become surplus to requirements at their existing clubs once the Bale/Suarez/Rooney merry-go-round has kicked off.
