Having got a little fed up with the sniping and whipping boy tactics this board is employing

I would like to say.... this season....I will be supporting the mighty SOOPERHOOPS

I am going to support anybody who pulls on the blessed (much more the right size) hoops.
When they come on the field I will cheer ...however badly they play I will not boo (I may go quiet and grumble...maybe even sob)...but I will not boo MY players.
If they are wearing the hoops ...they are MY players

If they have played to the best of their abilities, I will clap them of the field...win, lose or draw

I will discuss their abilities fairly and constructively, I will not construct hit lists of who I want out, from the start...because they are all starting equal.

That is my credo...come on lads....your team is going to be playing on Saturday wearing thicker hoops.
It is a new season...it is will be a bumpy ride because we are the RRRRs...but they are our team.

    End of tired rant!!!

    Come on you RRRS

Thank you Beth, very sensible and the way it should be.

I (try to) follow your credo myself, it is so much better than wallowing in negativity. We have who we have, get behind them!

An admirable sentiment Beth and a credo I'm sure you will have no problem following, but every cell in my body is opposed to everything that Joey Barton stands for, I can not cheer for him.

I didn't boo Bosingwa, I will applaud Henry when he makes a good tackle, I will try not to groan when the ball bounces off Zamora's chest straight to the opposition midfield, but even if Barton collects the ball in our half, dribbles past the whole of Millwall and scores a last minute winner to secure promotion I will not cheer him.

Total sense. Together we can all make loftus road somewhere to enjoy going and let the team know we are behind them. Lets hope they all give 100% this year which will make it easier for us all to show appreciation. COYR's. :D

    Well said Beth.

I am excited about Saturday and will be cheering the lads.

If i am honest, I am not quite as excited as I was at the start of last season (until 5pm on that fateful Saturday anyway) but I am sure that will come with more wins under our belt in due course.

Awesome, just what we needed an oath/pledge to the mighty hoops!

Well played Beth, count me in! I'll be one of the many cheering along with you from my cramped seat in F block this season. (I wish I was shorter on match days!)

I also think there will be less booing this year, partly due to some players being offloaded, and also because I think alot of the 'plastic fans' if that is a fair assessment, have probably not renewed as they believe they are too good to support a Championship Team and have gone back to supporting Man Utd this season.....

    You Rrrrrssssss!!!

Right direction for the team, Beth. As I have mentioned previously, as far as I'm concerned, the players slate are totally clean and it all starts again this week.
If the players can match our enthusiasm and commitment to the club, we should have a most enjoyable season.
Tickets please, get ya tickets ...Jump in, buckle up and hang on .............. the ride starts NOW!

Best post on here for a long, long time. If we don't win on Saturday I will dissect what went wrong with complete strangers on the tube home but I have never and will never boo the hoops.

Well no arguments here, I've been in positive mode for a month or so now it I have to say it's good here, though I'm with Roller on Barton but all the rest have my full support.

Right with you Beth, positive energy and all that around Loftus Road can hopefully spill on to the pitch.

I do however, concur with Roller re:Barton and hope that he never sports the blessed hoops again.

    Come on you RRRRRRRR's:cheesy:

I've never booed the Hoops although they deserved it on some occasions last season. I reserve the right to slate players on here if they let us down.

Those of you saying you can't abide Barton I guarantee you'll be dancing in the aisles if he scores the goal that sends us up...

I know what you mean Paul, but in your heart you'll struggle with this, as will I. Still, chin up, mustn't grumble.

If we are running on credo, I may need a confessional, preferably in a bar.......

Apparently Joe Jordan is developing signs of the stigmata.
