Puts all the Swans/Bluebirds bollox into perspective don't it! Would like to think it a watershed moment - let's all try to get along - can we at least try to do it for Prophet? Football is just a silly little game - some things are far more important!
Commiserations to family and friends ... as an old 606 poster I remember Prophet well ... it's the 'characters' that make football forums come alive... RIP
Just done this now, and I remember phophet as someone I found amusing long before I signed up to these forums... RIP
RIP Blue Prophet our thoughts are also with those you leave behind, from the other side of the river.
very sorry to hear about Roy's passing, i was aware that he had been ill. A legend from the old 606 and a cheese quiz icon much respect from a fellow football fan and a lot of fun memories from a very funny guy RIP Roy and my deepest condolences to the family;
Sorry gonzo, but I don't think that was bluebirdbluemoon/Blue Prophet. I think you've got someone else there mate. There is no way he would mention Liverpool in his profile - he was a Man City supporter apart from his passion for Cardiff. Also he was a Cardiff fan for more than 40 years, not 25.
I enjoyed many a sparring session with Prophet but that was banter, even though it threatened to go too far sometimes. This is real life and I'll pay him tribute for being a full on Cardiff City fan, through the good and bad times. It's important to remember those who were there through the bad times (as we have had ourselves), through unbelievably sparse crowds and I hope he's sitting on his cloud ready with scarf in hand (and a pint glass) with a warm Clark's pie on a plate in front of him when Cardiff take on West Ham in a couple of weeks time. Rest in Peace, bad ass soldier
Been dreading hearing this for a long time, good night and god bless Proph, so sad you couldn't make it back, hope you at least got to enjoy thinking of the coming season in the top tier. Thanks to those who have kept me informed.
Very very sad news. RIP Roy('proph'). He was always a joy to read and chat along with and his posts were some of the most entertaining on 606. Although I don't frequent these boards as often as I used to; Proph was one I would always look out for. Roy, you will be missed Sir. LedleysLeftFoot.
