Read some reports that we have approached AC Milan about their young striker Niang. We are rumoured to have enquired as to a season long loan with a buy clause of 6million Euros included.

AC Milan have turned it down but have made a statement that they may let him go later in the window after the Champions League play-offs.

"He can't leave," Galliani told reporters. "We've got Robinho and [Giampaolo] Pazzini both out and, until the Champions League play-offs are over, he can't leave."

All I can say is, yes please. Seriously talented young man. I find it hard to believe he'll ever rock up on Tyneside if truth be told!

God I'm so fcking bored of seeing this link, that link, this offer rejected, that offer refused.

It's fcking insufferable. I've tried to be patient, but for fcks sake I just don't see one other club pi$$ing around like ours.

I doubt Milan are too impressed with the offered sell fee if the rumours have any accuracy.

I think MA has been hoping we get a serious offer for Cabaye (or any other player who would command a significant fee) so he could spend a portion of that and not actually invest extra money. Pardew has even been quoted speaking of the need to sell Gosling to raise funds for purchases - we've got to be talking £1mill maximum for Gosling so that's pretty pathetic stuff.

I guess the increased revenue from the new TV deal, Wonga deal and this new betting sponsor must mostly be being routed towards clearing what is owed to MA. I dread to think how many seasons of just doing enough to scrape through it will take until he has cleared enough of the debt to be able to sell the club.

The books have always been sewn up in his favour. Where the fck did £35m go for a start, let alone all this sponsorship, etc. Every other rich bastad owner is ensuring their team has the best chance of winning something, our reclusive tw@t is more intent on making the club break even so he can get his money back. The guy's a fcking sh!t and should never, ever have invested in a football team.

Yes, because football clubs are charities that should continually receive and never repay

His stupidity and lack of due diligence should not be the reason for an absence of hope, aspiration or activity.

It's not Ashley's fault we're up to our eyeballs in debt. if you're looking for someone to blame for that, it would be the regime that spent years (and many millions of pounds that the club didn't have) "ensuring their team has the best chance of winning something".

The only thing Ashley's arrival did was make that debt interest free. You think repaying Ashley now and then when the club has money is bad - - think where we'd be if we still had commercial lenders to satisfy.

It's not going to help if we get relegated because we dont score enough goals
