Man Utd, Chelsea and City title race should be very interesting.

If Real Madrid get Bale... then..

    --------Benzema--------

    Ronaldo---Ozil------Bale

    <yikes>

Barcelona and Madrid will be threats as usual.

    Bayern and Dortmund always improving.

A number of French clubs raking in the players and spending cash.

The Champions league shall be very interesting indeed!

I'm looking forward to next season

    I am not.

Until we get a decent striker or two <yikes>

We're nowhere near ready for the start of the season!

Can't say that I'm looking forward just now.
Will probably change when it gets started.

Only interest in CL and other clubs are fantasy football points.

I predict a poor year for Man Utd.
They can do better than Moyes IMHO.

My love of football has waned in recent years. Personally I think football has lost a bit of its soul in this country. Just my opinion of course, but money has basically taken over and whilst it has brought a lot of good things, I think it has brought a lot of problems too. The PL has no real identity for me. Just a league of mercenaries.

I've been feeling similar. When the playing field is so uneven it takes a good deal of the fun out of things. It's not even just this country though - look at France with PSG and Monaco, Russia with it's Anzi's etc. Money is a poisonous drug and football is a crackhead.

I agree...there was a time i could pretty much tell you every player from every team. Nowadays its so chop change its lost its edge.
Would love FIFA to bring in stricter rules, only 5 non home grown players for example, or wage/transfer caps.
I don't care that it'd be no longer considered the best league in the world, It'd make football feel more like football again.
