http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/8848013/manchester-city-midfielder-abdisalam-ibrahim-handed-free-transfer Man City are letting him leave on a free and are reporting us being interested. I know he's been mentioned on here before, but is he anygood?
He looks like the kind of player Brucey would want, especially if he's free. The only thing is, when does his loan at Stromgodset run out? If it's today, then great, I'd snap him up in a heartbeat. Could be the hidden gem that we've craved. He also chose to play for Norway, so no ACoN bollocks in January!
Didn't SB say that he has finished his quest for forwards now and that it was midfield that needed looking at?
Talking to my friend who supports Man City he says that he suffered from Mancini not giving the youngsters any game time, he reckons he could definately do ajob in the Premier League. Not seen him personally so no idea!
You seem to be confused. You claimed SB only wanted a midfielder after signing a couple of strikers. OLM confirms that Ibrahim is a midfielder and therefore fits in with SB's criteria.
Anyone know what's happening with this kid? Also who was the last awesome ex Man City player we signed?
Nothing on this front yet, but apparently Amalfitano isn't too keen on coming, so if that doesn't happen then we might see some movement, maybe bringing him on trial before the testimonial.
