Just come in from riding back from Pembrokeshire. Got a cup of tea and this post and then I'm off to bed. I wouldn't mind some news either.
No significant news. Still in talks with Damiao, Banega and possibly Osvaldo but nothing looks really imminent. Bale looks likely to be off we we'll pick up some pennies as a solidarity fee.

It's fine. I, now don't want any latest news. I've been back long enough to have had the opportunity to receive some latest news and none has turned up. So sod the latest news. I'm going off to re-read some slightly older news, so there.
But if there hasn't been any newer news, isn't the older news the newest news. How old can news be before it isn't new anymore? Should it then be called olds?
If you want really up-to-the-minute news you could go and find all the months-old threads that still have "BREAKING" written in their titles because someone thought that was a good thing to permanently name them
