That is more down to his liabilies than his beliefs if he thinks we will implode, he is a self publicist and loves to rub fans up wrong way and say things like that so they think " I'll show that gobby twat" and say then go have a bet with him.
The BBC did a QPR. They thought they were getting a diamond and it turned out to be a piece of glass that they are stuck with for the duration of his long, overpaid contract.
