I agree, looked pretty damn good, it took a bit of getting used to though. Seemed very busy, like looking a checked shirt. Or maybe thats old age lol
I don't like the shirt personally, I think I'll only be buying the shorts and socks again this season.
A top class goal from Figueroa tonight, but I fear Hull will struggle in the Premiership if that was your best team, though I sincerely hope you stay up. If any of you Tigers fans see David Meyler could you please explain the meaning of the word 'friendly' to him, there is no need to make horrendous sliding tackles from behind that could end up finishing another players career. Had this been a League match he may well have been shown a red card.
So you judge teams in a pre-season friendly? Get a grip FFS, wait 'til to see us in a Prem game then judge us. As for the tackling, wasn't there, never saw them so can't comment.
OldPoshPete, It was a friendly, but a pre-season friendly, with starting places in the premier league up for grabs. The manager is not going to pick people who pull out of tackles in case fans of the opposition get annoyed that the nasty man took the ball away. I thought it was a decent work out for both teams, but are you not worried that your best player looks like he escaped from a fat camp by eating the guards? He looks like a quality player, but his attitude has to be questioned, especially after talking about a move at the end of last season. Has there been any sign of the Gayle money being spent on the team? Goals have not been a problem for you these last couple of years, but it seems to me that you might need to strengthen your forward options.
I was going to ask, did playing Figueroa there mean I have to reconsider having Brady in my FPL team?
Great goal, but I'd rather see our forwards scoring tap-ins. I'd be more confident about the new season then...
Cracking goal to win the game. Enjoyable watch all things considered. Paid my respects to the away end terrace.
