http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-qpr/2013/07/29/82029-33667825/ Seems the powers that be are going for constructive dismissal. Will be very sad to see Ale go as well as Mackie...the right sort again...although yet to regain his form
dont want him to leave think he has someone to offer the team. I do believe he was over rated by many of are fans. soon SWP is going to be are longest serving player. shm
dont believe this tony has said he is staying. but in saying that, hogan tweets and harry loaning him out last season
We're Tony's comments yesterday a veiled goodbye to Ale? Can't see that myself and would be gutted if be left, my favourite current ranger
Constructive dismissal? Harry not playing him because he's not been very good since his injury doesn't really count as the same thing! There are no angles and no reading between any lines, it is what it is so no need to go fishing.........
For a club more or less smack bang in the middle of London, with everything that is happening, we seem to be all at sea.
Ive thought the same for a while, seems like hes trying to **** up to get a massive pay off, either that or hes an incredibly **** manager.
NPC for at least two seasons if not three. There are pros and cons for most of the players except a few where the pros far outweigh the cons eg Remy. The point is that it is all chnage again and that means no stability and means no promotion while Harry builds a team. I do hope it is not another 15 years.
How much longer has Faulin got on his contract? He has not got back to his best since the injury and you have to ask the question "will he ever?". Why then give him a new contract? If he can prove himself either at Loftus Road or elsewhere (on loan) then maybe he can earn a new contract. That is the word ... "earn". We can't dish out contracts on sentiment.
Can't see constructive dismissal here. Harry was obviously looking for form in the clandestine Orient game. I hope Ali showed it. There's no doubt he's at least a Championship player at his best, but he's not been that since his injury. Sending him out on another loan doesn't seem unreasonable. I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories that Harry is trying to wreck the club!
Faurlin would be IMO brilliant again in the Championship. I hold some agreement with Flyer that with his language Harold couldn't give a fig for our club... He firmly believes he is bigger than that. I believe it matters not to him whether he works for QPR or not at the end of the day ... all we haveheard that it is going to be difficult. Also I base my opinion on this damming fact: You can not in any world slag off the players for not being any good, not wanting to play for the club etc etc ...WHEN you give off the same attitude yourself. You can never lead a club if you don't lead by example IMO ... Only until recently has he refer to QPR as us I will be there Saturday and I will support my team but the gastroesophageal reflux is bubbling away in the belly and the club needs to dish out some ranitidine asap
Some people go on about losing Faurlin as if we're leaving out Xavi. I do like the fact the guy cares about our club, but he's so suspect to a pressing game in midfield. I vividly remember when Watford beat us at home in our promotion season, Don Cowie, John Eustace etc pressed Faurlin and made his weaknesses very apparent. I think people tend to forget how much better Faurlin looked when Taarabt was in the team because that was mainly who he passed to, and it was Taarabts movement which made Faurlin's life a whole lot easier.
That's his job, to win the ball and give it to others to do stuff. Now he's not going to stand out when he looks up and sees SWP, Zamora and no I left there who arent going to do anything with it. He wins the ball a hell of a lot.
We can find hundreds of players who win the ball and give it to better players to do stuff with. I respect the fact he's a decent player statistically, but we'd have to fill the midfield with other players who compliment him. Is he worth shaping the entire midfield around? I don't think so.
He was leading the league in tackles before he had his injury. Thats why we didnt need a donkey like Henry. We dont have to fit in players around him, hes a very good NPC CM who can play in a 4 or 5 man midfield and offers more going forward than Derry or Henry. Both of which I wouldnt like to see in a 4 man midfield.
