Chico looks set to be out for this game, though I hope he makes it, as Malmo will be a far bigger test than Reading!....................
Lets hope they lose, though I doubt it, but if they do, it could well dent their confidence coming to the Liberty!................
Calling all Swedish fans! If Gefle play in Gavle, which is a large town north of Stockholm, why don't they call themselves Gavle? It's like Malmo calling their team Milmo. [I'm sure no-one really gives a sh*t but these questions have to be answered ] P.S. Gefle are also in the Europa League 3rd Q round playing FC Qarabag of Azerbaijan.
If we struggle out there in malmo it will be because of nerves wanting to do well,....malmo are no better than a div 1 or bottom championship side in reality that we should not have that much disposing over two legs...
Every little helps Gefle 2-0 Malmo Malmo suffered a double blow ahead of their Europa League showdown with Swansea City. Central defender Erik Johansson is a doubt for Thursday's third qualifying round clash at the Liberty Stadium after limping off in the first half against Gefle on Sunday night with a foot injury. And the Swedish high-fliers had their morale dented by slumping to a shock 2-0 league defeat to end their six-game unbeaten run. Malmo captain Jiloan Hamad said: "We're in a tough period with a tight schedule at the moment and it showed. We didn't have the strength. "We just have to suck it up and dig in. We have to accept and move on. "We have a couple of important days ahead. First we need some rest, then regroup and prepare for Swansea."
