In a new series, I intend to find out which factors affect a player reaching his potential, including examples to follow and examples to avoid. Part 1: Versatility - a poisoned chalice? http://hitrowz.com/2013/07/16/fulfilling-potential-part-1/
I guess everyone has a potentiol and it is the job of the coach to make them reach it. If the coach is selfish and will not let this young players play a role that will make them reach their potentials even if it will sacrifice a non-crucial game or two, then these young athletes will have no doubt be good in their career.
Everyone has a potential, it is just a matter of how will you unleash this potential; whether you own them or you be owned by them. Courage is a must!
