There lies the problem PP. Most craas don't (or cant) read newspapers as it very painful to keep reading the embarrassing ****e that Joke regularly comes out with.....................such as todays little gem of ridicule that he will lead them to a top 4 place? :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Seem to remember them playing 2 teams from the 'weak' Portuguese league.

    4 games. 0 wins.

TBH, I'm with many on here when I say if they stay fit they have a decent first 11 but then they also need the likes of Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Colo and especially Cisse to pick their game up from last year and if they don't, they will be ****ed. With no new additions as yet and some pretty ropey ones emerging recently,. they wont have the time to get players gelled together now anyway so a good start will be crucial. If they struggle early on then massive pressure will come from the terraces towards Ashley, Joke and Pardeaux. You don't have to scratch too far from the surface over at NE1 to see a bubbling cauldron of dissent and mutiny boiling away but hey, Rancid says its all okay so its all okay I guess?

They have an excellent first XI mate, assuming they wanna play for the club and stay fit.

Massive ifs in there though, massive.

Camel toe has his head so far stuck up his arse it aint funny.. Delusional and so depressed he has to come on here and clarify why his team will/should be in the top 5 this season, yes you signed a couple of frenchies last transfer and picked up f### all for it.. You got some old twat who's apparently dof on holiday and thinks he's running the show:1980_boogie_down: Yet you have the balls or (camel toe) to come on here and question our football club with a respected Director of football/scouts and a head coach who yes is inexperienced but has slapped your bitc# manager over the head after we pumped you 3-0. Just cause darren bent doesn't wanna play for your sh#t of a team don't take it out on us..

I'd be very surprised if we finished top 5 this season obviously, and I came on here to talk about your club and was asked about NUFC. I don't think I've seen you on here before but you seem like you're a bit slow or something so I might ignore your posts from now on. No offence.

As for Ashley, I haven't been able to find an article from a reputable source or with any quotes from anyone from anyone worthwhile.

Anyway even if it is true and Ashley wants to take money he's owed then there's not much we can do is there? One thing's for sure though if he didn't buy the club and do what he did we'd be ****ed. As long as we keep improving the squad like we have been then we can't really ask for more IMO so I'm happy enough.

Still glad we aren't losing millions upon millions every year. Let's see how that works out for you lot and several other clubs.

How come the foreigners we have signed from 'weaker' leagues are obviously going to fail, whereas Newcastles January French Foreign Legion have played in the PL and not been very impressive at all?

Double standards yet again? I think so.

Keep on believing deluded fool. With you now targeting the likes of Bardsley in your ranks, champions league success can only surely be a few weeks away now. ;)

I didn't say they were going to fail, all I said was there are question marks over their heads.

One thing I will say is we sign international level players whereas the free signings you have brought in aren't at that level.

Giaccherini is though, but I'm never fond of signing players who weren't that highly rated at their previous club and weren't starting team quality, even if it is a great club like Juve.

I reckon we could do worse for back up to be honest, but Lee Ryder came out and said we definitely won't be signing him. Not that he should ever be taken that seriously as he's a ****ing awful journalist but he seems pretty sure.

Ive heard from a very good source that talks will commence this week.

Its a terrible decision on Bardos part and a bizarre one for the mags but Joke is getting pretty desperate now to sign someone/anyone and he probably thinks he will gain some brownie points from the barcode army by signing a former SAFC player of the season?

Bardsley and Bent? Are you the new Sunderland B team in disguise?:emoticon-0109-kiss::emoticon-0102-bigsm

Can't see us signing Bent. He's on over our wage cap and he doesn't strike me as the sort of guy who would take a wage cut.

On Bardsley like I said he'd be coming in as back up and I don't see why he'd move here to play second fiddle. If it comes off then fair enough, couldn't care less that he played for you lot and wouldn't be either pleased or dissapointed by the signing.

He'd be better off staying where he is though to get games, or go to Hull or maybe QPR or somewhere.
