He simply isn't good enough to play centre midfield. He was the worst centre mid in the division last season IMO The club should move if any decent offer comes in for him
Definitely this. Too slow and too lazy. Surplus to requirements when PDC brings in the creative CM he wants. Sell to raise funds for someone better.
I wouldn't say he's lazy like, just has no presence whatsoever. Hardly a dominant figure. Why he was ever played cm in the first place is beyond me.
Games just bypass him and you can't afford that as a cm, you need to stamp your authority on a game like the likes of Cabral, Catts and N'Diaye do. Seb is certainly not lazy he works his bollocks off every game I see, he just doesn't have the ability unfortunately.

Has he? Got a link there fella? Find that strange as Seb is rm, Cabral is DM and Alfie is box to box. only one is capable of protecting the defence so find it strange he'd want to pair a deep lying playmaker with Alfie(maybe at home to lesser teams) or larsson who brings nothing at all.
Ill try and find it but it was the other day before the spurs game when they were talking about new signings. He said he wanted 2 full backs and a creative midfielder to play alongside one of those 3.

Seb Larsson's best attributes are his crosses and free kicks...if he is CM he will not do much crossing and if Gardner is doing his thunderbolts as opposed to Sebs curling shots...it has to be asked does he merit a place in CM?
