So there isn't any priority for non-season ticket holders who went to away games last seasons? Thanks a lot Nicola.

I'm fairly sure Nicola doesn't create and enforce the ticketing policy.

or priority for those of us who went to gillingham/southend/bristol rovers etc when we were in league 1?? this new system should have been in place when liebherr bought us. those loyal fans like myself, who had season tickets before the premier league would then rightly get tickets over all the johnny-come-lately's who suddenly appeared from nowhere last summer

I wonder if we'll have this moan every time ticket details are released? We had it all last season and I think all the debates on here proved that this is a no win situation for the club. They will piss someone off no matter what they do and everyone believes their case is more worthy than the next. It really is harsh to be griping at the club over this. The biggest problem lies in the away allocations for Premier League games.

I'm away for the WBA game and then at a wedding for Norwich away, so I'll be a long way down the pecking order for away games beyond that, but I just have to accept that and hope I get lucky.

It's more annoying when non season ticket holders can't get home tickets too...LOL!

What about us poor fans who had season tickets when Branfoot was in charge?

Big applause for WBA on their pricing which I wish was the case at all clubs including ourselves.

However you prioritise tickets you're going to upset someone. Personally I can't think of much better system than S/T holders who went to 6 last year getting first priority, but I would say that as it benefits me.

The club are really on a hiding to nothing because our away support is pretty good. They have to strike a balance between loyalty , but also must take into account new supporters. Its not always a question of " Johnny come latelys" but there are other factors. My dad never travelled away, but took me to home games, when I was old enough I started going away with some mates, we weren't jcl's just guys who were deemed old enough by their parents to start to go away. There must be spaces available for new blood as we were all newbies at one time.

Its not an easy thing to sort out and I don't envy the bloke who has to do it.

    Agree with The Lord

What doesn't help to is the inconsistency with which the club takes your information. Sometimes when buying tickets I have to give everyone's customer number, other times they take just mine.

I thinks it's fair attempt by the club with the away points system but I hope that another season in the prem and the novelty factor of some away games would have gone and they can get back to standard season ticket/non season ticket deal.

You can please some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time.

But you can't please all of the people all of the time.

    C'est la vie.

Can someone please tell me the problem with having extra categories before general sale with non ST holders who have been to 6 away games, then 4 and then 2 and then having general sale.

Because it will annoy someone who doesn't fit into that category but has, in their opinion, an equally deserving case.

Nothing, but then there's nothing wrong with the current format. It is only wrong for someone it doesn't suit. They can't win.
