If this world cup does go ahead and in the summer, god knows what will happen, yes the stadiums will be or better be air conditioned and every game will have to be in the evenings. What about the queue's outside the stadiums there will have to be massive covered areas also air conditioned. I am sure many of you have been out here........ indoors is fine but outside 1 cup of water every 10/15 minutes it ain't somewhere that you can just stand out in and if alcohol is allowed then you wont know the difference between someone laid on the street pissed or dying of heatstroke because I certainly wouldn't like to be pissed in the midday sun here, water is the best drink of the day for me.
. You can Chazz but today it peaked at around 44c so 15 mins walking is enough outside I reckon. I work for around 30 mins at a go outside and your shirt is wringing and I probably drink a litre+ of water in that time and it does get in the 50s and you just cannot drink enough(water). Apart from that it's OK
I've had hangovers in Oman: really not good if you are not in an air conditioned room. Walking home in 55 degrees heat after a night out on the booze is not recommended.
