Hello, Canary fan in peace........................ Following a discussion on the Ipswich board a few days ago I would like you guys to come up with as many players from between 1970 to the present day who have been awarded FULL international caps (while playing for your team). Not u18, u21 etc - Any country. I do not intend to turn this into a discussion type of thread or any kind of competition between our 2 clubs - just for interest, and maybe some surprises along the way as we go down memory lane. If you can give me the name, country and approx year (in that order)
One or two Forest players to say the least. I'll get the ball rolling with a few obvious ones: Pearce, Shilton, Walker, Clough, Hodge, Robertson, Woods, Earnshaw, Gunter, Camp, Majewski, David Philips, Gemmill x 2, Viv Anderson, Keane, Burns, Birtles, Davenport, Francis, Stone, Woodcock, O'Neil, Webb, Roy, Bohenan, Haaland, Van Hoojidonk, Dean Saunders(?), Andy Reid, Kingsley Black, Collymore(?), Crossley, Darren Ward.
Colin Cooper ? 1995 i think. There's some names in there Back2Back, i think Collymore set Ian Wright up for a goal in an England shirt.
Think you have just about got everyone I can think of back2back, oh wait I suppose you could count Judas Commons for Scotland
john thompson was capped once by Eire I believe, while at Forest. Nikola Jerkan cerca 96/97... Gino Padula for Argentina?
