Friend of yours!? There's nothing wrong with having your own views, but going on some kind of myopic crusade is thoroughly tedious after a while and just makes you look like a madman. Waving fist at passing buses kind of thing.

There was a photo of Jim White interviewing Mauricio (who had a bandaged leg!), but that must have hit the cutting room floor.
I presume Mauricio has really hurt his leg, but I like to think he's poking fun out of Cortese. I wonder where they buried the body of the last man to do that
Businesses all spend money on promotional stuff...this was a relatively small outlay to get the repeat coverage on Sky. A higher profile for Saints could bring in money from other sources.
I imagine working for Cortese would be an absolute nightmare. Whilst I'm grateful for everything he's done and continues to do for SFC, I'm equally grateful that I've now reached a stage in life where, when obsessively driven people say things like "I demand a lot of others, but I demand a lot of myself too", I can yawn and reply "lighten up mate, life's too short." I've met too many martinets with small man syndrome to be anything other than mildly sceptical. In fact our chairman is starting to look a lot like a candidate from "The Apprentice".
