I've no idea how much training has been done, I believe they trained without a ball yesterday as the pitch was too wet!

However the main training was done in Italy.

Match practise, again ruined by the rai but a competitive match against Spurs, players will have bonded after that victory. No injuries a bonus.

Another game tomorrow in what is going to be similar conditions. Not ideal. Again top notch opposition.

Profile of SAFC must have increased in Asia and we must now have new fans. The home fans havn't suffered too much as it's televised.

All in all I think it's been worth while. If we win it do we defend it next year?

    What do you guys think?

Training in such humid conditions will do the lads a power of good, even if it don't feel like it at the time.

The lads are gonna be fit as a butchers dog filled with cocaine come Fulham.

Defo worth it. Weve just beat Spurs and the whole of asia was watching. A few years ago we were unknown in these parts!

No defence of the trophy - should we win it - unless we qualify through the Prem's criteria next time round.

    Fancy our chances, tho.

It`s the oppositions fault. They were really nasty to us and wouldn`t share.

Match practice against good opposition got to help, always tend to think that teams in early uefa qualifying etc etc get a jump start, can only help bonding, gelling before we get down to the real stuff

Agree with this. Far better than pottering about playing Gasworks XI teams.
