At least I have one! Your efforts on this board prove that your ability to comprehend is minimal. Let's take the players that you highlighted. Ramsey is not good enough to get into Everton's side! Moyes shed no tears when Arteta joined you - and he hasn't improved. How many full games has Wilshere played in the last 2 seasons?

So go away and grow up.

again there is no way arsenal's gorund is totally paid for... it is not built that long... that is NOT me saying its not an easy payment for them but lets not assume stuff without looking at thier accounts.

oh and they have cut wages to some extent... FFS guys lfc have over 60mil working capital on the last accounts so given arsenal didn't spend and didn't LOSE on most transfers so them having 130mil on hand aint that much.

but now red.. .we don't know whats going on with arsneal and suarez talking we only know lfc say he's not for sale... but he is for 50mil... but he's not and you'd better bid quick.... we do not know the next step as there is now a slight vacuum for the press to speculaate in until we hear from suarez camp.

It's only July ffs. Gazidis has openly said they were going to spend big this summer, in order to put themselves in a position to compete with the best. You can judge whether those words were hollow or not on the 2nd Sept. As for being risk averse, I think Wenger is naturally cautious in the market, but that's not such a bad thing is it?

Grow Up. Showing the world that you know about a figure mentioned in a confidential clause in a contract reeks far more of being both unprofessional and possible illegal.

ahaha You're quite clearly very daft.

How can one talk about "average" players when their team is littered with them? Arteta is light year ahead of anyone you have in midfield bar Lucas. Same with Ramsey.

What? Is this idiot serious? Arsenal bid for the player. They never came out with any statements. You really are a blinkered and delusional fool.

You can change your PR agency but it takes a lot longer to change the habits of your executives.

    Guys, Arsenal mission accomplished

"We need to show ambition and the offer for Suarez has done that," said Giroud.

Hook line sinker, fans/players are happy that they're are at least trying (although RVP and many before him have seen through this)

directors ever so happy that their spread sheets keep improving. Season ticket holders remortgaging their houses while their directors are buying the latest yachts. But footballs more than just trophies right

The fact that Arsenal bid £40,000,001 means they know about a 'confidential clause in a contract' <doh> - that was their 'statement'

Doesn't matter what you think is the underlying message of that bid. It is still a bid. And Arsenal haven't openly come out and made any statement about Liverpool or directed towards.

'Underlying message' - they just happened to guess at a figure and add £1 to trigger a clause - yeah right.

Not trying to convince yourself here more than anyone, I presume. <laugh>
No stress. No matter what Arsenal are trying to accomplish, one thing is for certain you'll finish comfortably behind them as per usual.

It is amusing that you claimed you "like" Arsenal before though. Pretty obvious you don't with bitter comments such as that. <ok>

    It's simple statements mate:

Management are responding to your bid. If i publicly bid a pound for Wiltshire would the Arsenal response be a long and detailed statement listing the reasons why they aren't accepting? Of course not: It was an expression of how disrespectful they believed the bid to be, you may disagree but you don't hold the contract.

Nothing smug about the opinions that they believe that Arsenal don't offer enough of what Suarez reportedly wants to be attractive to him.

Suraez to Aresnal: It's like saying dont stay at Flamingo land and come to Alton Towers when the guy has expressed a clear deisire to visit Disneyland.

It's really not that difficult to comprehend. You may be sensitive to reality but it doesn't make it untrue. You have plenty of money apparently but no track record in the last 8 years of doing anything with it. You may get lucky (or unlucky depending on how it turns out) Suarez may think Arsenal is super smashing great because of their 4th place ribbon every year and want to join you but 9and I'm not sure how many different ways LFC can say this:

Just pay us 50M. Then you don't have to listen to us do you?

As a LFC fan:I don't want him to join you simply on the principle of not selling to those you want to overtake in the league. Surely you with Aresnals experiences can accept that?

Being Objective based on his stated desires I would question why he would go to you because on his own he won't get what he wants.

Looking from your point of view I think it's mad. I simply think he's too big a risk for the money even you are proposing being spent.

    No bitterness involved at all.

The short term cash flow issue that Arsenal suffered after the Emirates development was aleviated by the sale of the Highbury flats. The long term debt that funded the build is being paid back at around £20m per year, and it's obvious from their annual profits that this debt is not causing them an issue.

LFC DO NOT have £60m cash reserves, that's utter ****e. They have a funding agreemnt in place that allows them to borrow in excess of that, but it's not akin to Arsenal's £123m CASH RESERVES. i.e.. earned & accrued cash at hand.

...and to the people who believe Suarez doesn't owe Liverpool anything, how about a full ****ing season?

Then again, even if he did stay it wouldn't be a full season as the dumb **** is already serving a ban.

Tobes In effect they're both the same as whoever you buy from doesn't give a tinkers cuss if the money came from reserves or a funding agreement!

As for their repayment schedule - it's still paying off a debt and will continue to be so long after the refurbishment of Anfield has been paid for.

Yes you're right it was. LFC know all about this issue as they were fined for exactly the same offence i.e. knowing about a players confidential contract clause, when they bid for Ziege.

Don't talk out your arse man, there's a world of difference between having cash at hand i.e. profit you've made & are keeping for a rainy day & borrowings that have to be repaid with interest.

Who's paying forthe new Anfield btw, the tooth fairies? ffs you don't half talk some bollocks you Dave.
