I can't remember how much it was reported we paid for him, but I think it was more than £500k. I'm hoping it's closer to £500k than £300k, but I'd have hoped for at least £700k. EDIT: We signed him for £750k, so we've lost quite a bit on him, hence the "undisclosed".
I would agree that Pitman was probably the better player, when played centrally he did have the ability to bring other players into the game, seemed to have a good football brain. Not sure Davies was that good but I'm sure someone will tell me otherwise. We need a striker and midfield cover. Hope the Marlon pack rumour is true!

Hope Steve Davies is part Donkey you have to love being on sand to play at Blackpool he will have seen Blackpools pitch at it's very best as there has been little wind over the last few weeks wait til the wind gets up and it will be beach football at Bloomfield road.
I liked Davies and I liked Pitman, I thought we only paid £350k for Davies but possibly my addled brain mush playing up. Still think we could struggle without Kelly so that's 2 players I liked out this week. Kelly being my favourite City player and Stead and Davies being Mrs Redordead's So our new favourite is Neil Kilkenny hopefully he won't leave us.
The way I see it mine and the Mrs favourites virtually given away Bob Taylor Andy Cole Jon Stead Steve Davies And injuries to Liam If I make Kilkenny my favourite it might happen and he leaves
