Wow, just wow, you, sir, are a very fine poet indeed, I can't sing either, but I hum a bit! Belly tickle and ear rub to the master!
Agreed. We are in dire need of some new songs, especially as Holty has left for pastures new and taken some classics with him. Some slight editing and we could be in business for a Hooper song - poor lad is going to have the kiss of death put on him before he's even put on the green and yellow! How about this for a start (and its only a start based on RBFs original!) Come on everyone, edit away or come up with your own Hooper song. Super Hooper decked in green n yella Scoring just for fun (Su-p-per Hoo-p-per) Deadly as a gun (Sup-p-per Hoo-p-per) He is England's number one Super Hooper defenders never see him Rising to head home He doesn't need a comb When he scores in the Delia Dome Shocking effort I know (I'm no RBF) but its a start and I think we should have a competition for new songs - we need to get behind the players more and motivate them more by singing our hearts out for them!
Ah - now that I could have managed gandy, but last I heard, my beloved horn was being put to good use by a pro in Stuttgart, I couldn´t bear the thought of it just sitting around idle, when I had to pack it in. C´est la vie!
Your made some top signings this summer. I think you will have one of your best season in a very long time
Thanks Proud Fox. Good luck to you as well this season! Well done to you RBF, and you could play it on a recorder and still be safe from a hernia!
Mr. Fox, I think Mr. Hughton has once again proved that he´s really very shrewd when it comes to dealing in the transfer market.
We can level some criticism at his (defensive) tactics from time to time, but his transfer record over the last year has been absolutely stunning... GK - Bunn/Nash CB - Bassong/Turner LB - Garrido/Olsson RB - Whittaker DM - Tettey CM - Fer/Butterfield Wing - Snodgrass/Redmond Striker - Van Wolfswinkel/Hooper/Becchio
the only deal i think he's got badly wrong was harry kane. there are a couple such as butterfield and becchio who still have a lot of impressing to do but kane is the only one that's been poor
i know, and he got injured too, but i never really understood the signing at the time and i still don't 12 months on. it did seem a tad desperate, just to boost numbers
I assume you are talking about Butterfield, definitely agree. I was on about Becchio...one doesn't score 20 Championship goals by the start of January without serious talent and clinical finishing prowess. I understand that Hughton, when results weren't going our way, used Holt excessively. Kamara, given his attributes, playing on the wing is also understandable. This season, I expect 2 up front.
