Every transfer window that comes up (for the last 23million years) we seem to mention him !

Make Flyer happy for a change though !

We can go for Messi, Rooney, Ronaldo or anyone else you choose if you like, but just like Rhodes we wont get anyone who is on the up, in form and scoring loads of goals and will be courted by decent clubs with less of a media circus around them and not newly relegated.

He was saying he is very happy at blackburn which means he'll give them another season and if they dont go up he'll be off to one the newly promoted clubs

We need someone to find an undervalued, hard working, dark horse like Mackie was when Warnock signed him up.

So if Scottish international, Mackie is only valued (by us) at £1 million, what is another one, Rhodes, really worth, certainly not £12 million

Mackie left us because he was undervalued and he definitely was a hard-working Mackie type... :,(

I'm feel deflated by the goings on at our club & i thought this would be a good pre-season so wrong, we ain't going to get rhodes or any other young striker just can't see it, really fcuked off about whole thing, want half of that shambles of a team last season out asap, i'll be there sat cheering them on but somethings got to change.

Jordan Rhodes is very slow lads ... there is no interest in him by other clubs ... why? ... he isn't all that and Flyer i am sorry is not right on this one

With all the scouting teams watching every move from any potential player on the planet.

We have to risk on Zamora and Johnson and hope Remy stays until Xmas. There is little point pulling names from the hat now ... the club is simply being dreadfully managed at the moment. I am sure that we have enough to win a few games and that is the key here.. team spirit what remains of the squad is of course good enough.

We win a few games and start playing a better style it could well grow and our forward players could become heroes again. Johnson to me looks sharp, fit and is clearly IMO a much better player than Hooper, Austin or Rhodes

Taarabt is key for us we must keep him onside with us and he will rip this league up at a canter ...

I expect this we will fumble the first few matches and by the end of the window we would get a few players in.

we keep Remy we will score goals and a lot of them

Don't say injuries ... any player can get injured Johnson is fit at the moment we can only focus on that

If these blokes - Austin, Rhodes, Hooper - were actually the real deal they would have been in Prem squads already.

Clearly we lack the scouting systems and possibly the bollocks to identify and take risks on real unknowns.

Still, on paper with Remy and Adel, we look strong.
